With the new short-wave infrared radiant heaters from AEG Haustechnik, there is now a whole range of heating packages available for people in the hotel and restaurant trade with money to spend – and suitable for the most diverse applications and environments, both indoors and out. Unlike traditional gas-fired radiant heaters, AEG's compact short-wave infrared radiant heaters are operated using 230v mains electricity. The particular efficiency of this modern equipment lies in its technology which is environmentally-friendly because it is completely emission-free. Since they emit neither CO2 nor nitrogen oxides (NOX), they have no impact on the climate. Compared to conventional gas radiant heaters, short-wave infrared radiant heaters can produce savings of up to 70 per cent with three times the coverage. With no need for a warm-up period, the short-wave infrared radiant heater provides instant heat to the people nearby – similar to the way that natural sunlight works. Because short-wave infrared A warms the body directly and not the air, the energy savings are enormous.
